A delicious twist on a classic dish, featuring turkey bacon and juicy chicken, perfect for family dinners.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup honey mustard sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and spread honey mustard sauce on top.
  5. Layer with turkey bacon and cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave.
