1 pound ziti pasta
6 ounces turkey bacon
6 ounces chicken ham
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp; remove and crumble.
In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add in chicken ham and cook for a few minutes.
Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, red pepper flakes, and season with salt and pepper.
Combine cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, and sauce mixture in a large bowl.
Transfer half of the mixture to a baking dish, layer with mozzarella, then top with remaining ziti mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
For added flavor, you can mix in some chopped fresh basil.
