  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is soft.
  4. Stir in the rice, beef broth, diced tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
  8. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili powder or jalapeños.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
