- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the buttermilk, oil, eggs, and vanilla, then mix until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped cherries.
