  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk, starting and ending with the flour.
