Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe

A delicious and easy Cajun chicken pasta recipe that packs a flavor punch and makes a perfect dinner delight.

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, then add to the skillet and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and bell peppers until soft.
  6. Add heavy cream and parmesan cheese; stir until combined and sauce thickens.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, followed by sliced chicken and green onions.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning to taste.
