  • 8 slices brioche bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Lay half of the bread slices in the dish, and layer with diced apples and pecans.
  5. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread, then drizzle half of the caramel sauce.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining bread, egg mixture, and caramel.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use challah bread instead of brioche.
  • Feel free to use any type of apples you prefer.
