- 12 oz pasta of your choice
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onions and a pinch of salt, cook until the onions are caramelized.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the pasta is done, reserve some pasta water, and drain the rest.
- Add the pasta to the caramelized onions, mixing well. If it’s dry, add a bit of reserved pasta water.
- Stir in the red pepper flakes, and mix to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

- Feel free to adjust the chili oil amount based on your heat preference.
