Caramelized Onion Tart with Gorgonzola & Brie

A deliciously rich and flavorful tart featuring caramelized onions topped with luxurious Gorgonzola and Brie cheeses.

  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
  • 4 ounces Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the onions, salt, and pepper. Cook until the onions are caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and transfer it to a tart pan.
  4. Add the caramelized onions evenly over the pastry.
  5. Top with Gorgonzola and Brie cheese slices.
  6. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

  • Let the tart cool for a few minutes before slicing.
