Chicken Shepherd’s Pie With Hash Browns

A delicious take on traditional shepherd’s pie, using hash browns for a crispy topping and tender chicken filling.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer the frozen hash browns on top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the hash browns and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the hash browns are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
