Chicken Souvlaki Rice Pilaf

A delightful blend of chicken souvlaki and flavorful rice pilaf.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, cook the marinated chicken until golden and cooked through.
  3. In a separate pot, bring chicken broth to a boil and add rice.
  4. Cover and simmer the rice until cooked, about 18 minutes.
  5. Fluff the rice and combine with the chicken. Serve warm.

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs like parsley or dill.
