Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  6. Gradually add the flour and stir until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-65 minutes.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, you can substitute half of the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour.
