  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow cupcakes to cool before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, top with whipped cream and more chocolate chips.
  • Make sure the butter is at room temperature for better mixing.
