- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, yeast, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and eggs.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and fold in the chocolate chips.
- Shape the dough into a loaf and place it in a greased loaf pan.
- Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
