  • 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Saltine crackers in a single layer.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the butter mixture over the crackers evenly.
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes until bubbly. Remove from oven.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the toffee, wait 5 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  7. Combine granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over chocolate.
  8. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
