  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in sour cream and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. In a small bowl, prepare the streusel by combining flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half of the streusel, then pour in the remaining batter and top with the remaining streusel.
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes
