  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix in the flour until just combined.
  5. In a separate small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, and then top with the remaining batter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
