Classic Blueberry Muffins

Make the perfect classic blueberry muffins that are soft, fluffy, and bursting with fresh blueberries. Enjoy them warm right out of the oven!

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with papers.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow cooling for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra burst of flavor, sprinkle sugar on top of the muffins before baking.
