Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add diced chicken and cook until browned.
  4. Add chopped bell pepper, onion, and garlic; sauté until softened.
  5. Stir in Cajun seasoning, heavy cream, chicken broth, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and turkey bacon to the sauce, stirring until well combined.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
