Creamy Cajun-Style Chicken Pasta

A delightful dish combining creamy pasta with the bold flavors of Cajun spices and turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté the chicken until cooked through. Remove and slice.
  4. Add the bell pepper, onion, and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
  5. Stir in Cajun seasoning, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese; mix until combined.
  6. Add cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon; toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm.
