  • 1 pound chicken sausage, casings removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups spinach, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken sausage and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced onion and garlic to the skillet; sauté until the onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  5. Add parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning; mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Fold in the cooked pasta and chopped spinach, cooking until the spinach is wilted.
