Creamy Miso Udon

A rich and comforting dish featuring creamy miso udon noodles paired with turkey bacon and chicken ham, perfect for a cozy meal.

  • 200 grams udon noodles
  • 100 grams turkey bacon
  • 100 grams chicken ham
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the udon noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the chicken ham and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add the miso paste, heavy cream, vegetable broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil, stirring until well combined.
  5. Add the cooked udon noodles to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Serve the udon in bowls, topped with crispy turkey bacon and sliced green onions.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, skip the bacon and chicken ham or use meat substitutes.
  • You can adjust the level of creaminess by adding more or less heavy cream.
