  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan.
  3. Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken on both sides.
  5. Place browned chicken in a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine heavy cream and chopped basil; simmer until slightly thickened.
