  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces baguette, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded Gruyère cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Add to the crockpot.
  2. Add the sliced onions to the crockpot along with butter, sugar, thyme, salt, and pepper.
