  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon additional cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Let cool on a wire rack.
  6. In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to create frosting. Frost the cookies once they are cool and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, add sprinkles on top of the frosting.
