- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups diced apples
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Mix until crumbly.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Spread half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish, making an even layer.
- Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the crust.
- Top with the remaining batter and spread it evenly. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before slicing into bars.
