  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until just combined.
  4. Fold in the diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Spread half of the mixture into the prepared baking dish, making an even layer.
  6. Drizzle half of the salted caramel sauce over the crust.
  7. Top with the remaining batter and spread it evenly. Drizzle the rest of the caramel sauce on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking.
