- 9 lasagna noodles uncooked
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions, then drain and lay flat.
- In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer three noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the cottage cheese mixture, followed by a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Repeat the layers, ending with noodles, sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
