- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix milk, heavy cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a greased baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes. Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese and half of the turkey bacon.
