Mascarpone Apple Crumble Torta

A rich and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of mascarpone cheese and sweet apples, topped with a buttery crumble.

  • 2 cups fresh apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the mascarpone cheese and vanilla, and mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in the flour, cinnamon, and salt to create a dough.
  5. Spread half of the dough into the bottom of a greased pie dish.
  6. Add the sliced apples on top of the dough layer.
  7. Crumble the remaining dough over the apples.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your apples.
