  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg, then spread them evenly in the baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Add mascarpone cheese to the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Spread the mascarpone mixture over the apples, then sprinkle the crumble over the top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
