  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish and layer half of the bread slices on the bottom.
  3. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble over the bread.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and bacon.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, then layer the remaining bread slices.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
