This easy no-knead bread recipe combines the flavors of roasted garlic and fresh rosemary for a delicious bakery-style loaf right at home.

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup roasted garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast together.
  2. Add the warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Incorporate the roasted garlic and chopped rosemary into the dough.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  6. Once the dough has doubled in size, shape it into a round loaf and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Carefully transfer the dough into the hot Dutch oven, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the lid and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • For added flavor, experiment with different herbs.
  • Allowing the bread to cool completely will make slicing easier.
