Pan-Fried Chicken and Cabbage Dumplings

Delicious pan-fried chicken dumplings infused with savory turkey bacon for a delightful twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, turkey bacon, cabbage, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper and fold over to seal.
  4. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and add dumplings in batches.
  5. Fry until golden brown on both sides, then add a splash of water, cover, and steam until cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with a dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Experiment with different fillings for variety.
