  • 2 medium onions

  • 400 grams canned tomatoes
  • 50 grams pecorino Romano cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and add pancetta, cooking until crispy.
  3. Add chopped onions and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  4. Stir in canned tomatoes, and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Combine the sauce with the drained spaghetti and toss well.
  7. Serve hot, topped with freshly grated pecorino Romano cheese.
