- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and lemon juice.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let cool completely before glazing.
- Mix confectioners’ sugar and milk to create the white glaze.
- Dip half of each cookie into the melted chocolate and the other half into the white glaze.
