Potsticker Soup

A cozy and comforting soup that combines the flavors of potstickers in a warm broth.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 package potstickers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add ground pork and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in cabbage and green onions, cooking until soft.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and water, then add soy sauce and sesame oil.
  6. Bring the soup to a boil.
  7. Add potstickers and simmer until cooked through.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute ground beef or chicken for the pork if desired.
  • Add more vegetables like bok choy or carrots for extra nutrition.
