  • 1/4 cup flour for streusel
  • 2 tablespoons butter for streusel

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin, sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle nuts if using.
  6. Prepare the streusel by mixing flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly, then sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Top with the remaining batter and another layer of streusel.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
