A simple and savory chicken pot pie casserole recipe that incorporates turkey bacon for a flavorful twist.

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, turkey bacon, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and milk.
  3. Stir in half of the shredded cheese.
  4. Unroll one pie crust and place it in a greased casserole dish.
  5. Pour the chicken mixture into the pie crust.
  6. Top with the second pie crust, sealing the edges.
  7. Make slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
