Slow Cooked Chicken, Rice, and Broccoli with Cheddar Cheese

A delicious and comforting slow-cooked meal featuring chicken, rice, broccoli, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breast
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breast in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour the rice and chicken broth over the chicken.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes, add broccoli and cheddar cheese, then cover and continue cooking.
  6. Once done, shred the chicken and mix all ingredients before serving.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add a can of cream of chicken soup.
  • Adjust the amount of cheddar cheese to taste.
