- 2 pounds chicken breast
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Place the chicken breast in the slow cooker.
- Pour the rice and chicken broth over the chicken.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes, add broccoli and cheddar cheese, then cover and continue cooking.
- Once done, shred the chicken and mix all ingredients before serving.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, add a can of cream of chicken soup.
- Adjust the amount of cheddar cheese to taste.
