Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes

  • 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken ham, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham over the potatoes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the first layer.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, bacon, ham, and cream mixture.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheese on top to melt.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, you can omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  • Experiment with different types of cheese for varied flavor.
