  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the apple cider, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread a thin layer of melted butter over it.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the butter layer, then roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Cut the log into individual rolls and place them in a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly, then drizzle icing on top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped apples to the filling.
  • These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored.
