Sticky Korean Chicken Skewers

These Sticky Korean Chicken Skewers are irresistibly sticky and packed with flavor, making them the perfect choice for any gathering or weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
  2. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and add them to the marinade. Mix until coated well and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  4. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with a side of rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • These skewers can be cooked on a grill pan if you don’t have access to an outdoor grill.
