- 2 cups sushi rice
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound imitation crab meat
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Stir into cooked rice.
- In a bowl, combine crab meat, mayonnaise, sriracha, and green onions.
- Spread rice in a baking dish and layer the crab mixture on top.
- If using, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and top is golden.
- Garnish with nori strips before serving.
Notes
- Try adding avocado or cucumber for added texture.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
