  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto baking sheets.
  8. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt before baking.
  9. Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, slightly underbake them.
