Zuppa Toscana Soup is a hearty and comforting dish that combines flavorful ingredients like turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken broth, potatoes, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and then simmer until potatoes are tender.
  4. Stir in the chicken ham and kale, cooking until the kale is wilted.
  5. Finally, stir in the heavy cream and crumbled bacon. Heat through and adjust seasoning as needed.

  • For added flavor, try using smoked chicken ham.
  • Top with grated Parmesan cheese for extra richness.
